SS10 New Look
In our Wardrobe A-Z we touched upon the Nautical theme being a popular trend for SS09 and it seems to have made a welcome return this year.
The high street has gone overboard with all things nautical but very very nice with shops awash with anchors and stripes. The great thing about the nautical look is that it’s a trend that never seems to go away. It’s become more of a fashion staple in your wardrobe than a trend, so every piece you buy or have bought is an investment for the future (that’s what i tell myself anyway!)…
If you’re worried about looking like you’re off to a fancy dress party (hello sailor) then work the look with a few key pieces; such as a statement necklace, jacket, handbag or shoes.
Key things to look out for with this trend are: anchors, sailor boats, stripes, navy/blue/red/cream/white/gold colours, canvas materials and erm more stripes.
