If you haven’t noticed by now, here at Wardrobe we are BUZZING for the festival season that officially kicked off this weekend with the Isle of Wight festival (and Download for all you rockers out there).
For those who didn’t mind missing the football this weekend (World Cup fever is just as exciting as festival fever!) then the Isle of Wight was the place to be.
With acts like Jay-Z, Paul McCartney(!), Blondie, Florence and the Machine, The Strokes and Calvin Harris performing it was always going to be a top musical event.
With one eye firmly on the musical talent on show, the other was of course on the outfits as seen on the artists and celebrity festival goers.
Our two top festival fashionistas were out and not letting us down at all with their choice of outifts. We salute you Kate Moss and Alexa Chung *salute*
Loving Kate’s 70′s rock chic vibe and proving that the denim short truly is a festival wardrobe staple. Alexa looks quintessentially British with her Barbour jacket and flat boots- covering all bases in terms of weather but looking cool as.
How cute does Florence Welch look in her floral print dress, John Lennon-esque sunnies and her socks/sandals combo. Her jacket features two big trends for the summer: fringing and pastel/nude colours.
Another festival fashionista who rarely gets it wrong is Fearne Cotton wearing her white summer dress with a black jacket. Just how cool are those boots!
At a first glance I wasn’t so sure about Coco Sumners outfit. But the daughter of Sting and Trudie Styler has got it spot on performing with her band ‘I blame Coco’ wearing an aviator style leather jacket and red shorts. Definitely one to watch for in the style stakes…
Lately The Saturdays haven’t really been doing it for us in terms of stage style but we’ll give them praise where it’s due. We love these colourful tropical playsuits teamed up with tough boots. Sexy but not at all trashy, see it is possible *miaow*
Although this list was just for the best dressed from the Isle of Wight festival I just had to include the next two pictures. Now we love Marina and the Diamonds, especially Marina’s quirky style but i’m afraid this t-shirt is abit too ‘wacky’ (or should i say tacky?) for me. What do you think?

Marina and the Diamonds
But don’t worry Marina, you certainly weren’t on my worst dressed list. Nope that accolade goes to Juliette Lewis…
Two words: OH DEAR
Did you go to the Isle of Wight festival? What do you think of the above outfits?

oh dear Florence
I think Florence’s outfit looks terrible, but I love Marina’s t-shirt.
Sorry I’m just stunned at Juliette Lewis’ outfit. She looks like when I was in my fashion experimental phase!
I didn’t know Florence was so on trend. But I love Coco Sumner’s outfit for some reason…I just love it!

Fearne Cotton always rocks the festival look! I was watching ITV coverage and she was wearing 3/4 jeans, Converses and a Rolling Stones tee. She looked so fantastic.
I like Fearne Cotton’s look!
Does anyone know anything about the dress Florence wore onstage at the Isle of Wight festival. It’s a kinda greecian effect dress with large flowing sleeves???
