We love our soaps here at Wardrobe and of course a red carpet , so with last night’s Inside Soap Awards we couldn’t wait to see what which of our fave telly stars got it right or horribly wrong….
Our fave Eastenders was the big winner of the night bagging six awards including the biggie: ‘Best Soap’. The East End ladies didn’t scrub up too badly either, especially Shona Mcgarty aka Whitney Dean who opted for an embellished LBD.
EAST ENDS HITS
Now soap awards are known for their ‘casual’ red carpet status (nobody expects BAFTA red carpet glamour) so Kylie Babbington gets a thumbs up for her casual tailored outfit. However, I think she should have opted for more accessories or atleast a pair of nude shoes- something other than black to really give her outfit an edge.
East End Miss
I feel really awful for saying this but… I’m not feeling this dress. It’s nothing personal Bunmi! Whilst I like the colour, I think it’s the length that made me put this in the ‘miss’ file. Maybe i’m being old fashioned but if it was a little longer and the dress had a bit more to it then I would give it a big Wardrobe thumbs up. But it ain’t. So… *thumbs down*
Here’s the rest of the dresses from the awards. I’ll let you make your own mind up with the rest of these (i’m no good at being mean!) but I am LOVING abit of leopard print on the red carpet. Kirsty Leigh Porter gets my award for the best red carpet look of the night with Paula Lane coming a close second…
Which soap siren got it right and who got it wrong for you? Do you think agree with my picks?

Eastenders!!!!
Natalie Anderson is my winner! What the he’ll was Loui Batley thinking?! And poor Bronagh she’s so stunning in real life I wanted her to wear something with s bit of class not brass!!
EE’s Jodie looks so different from on TV! I like it! Though I agree, Bunmi’s dress is a tad bit short.
