With Christmas fast approaching, (you only have to look at our recent posts to tell its coming), it’s finally that time of year to get out those winter woollies you’ve been hiding in your wardrobe all summer.
Whether it’s thick tights, chunky knits (see Sunny’s earlier post), woolly hats or even those mittens your nan made when you were twelve, these cold months coming up definitely require a few more layers.
And if there’s one key item that should be on every girls’ crimbo list this festive period, it’s faux fur.

Not only is faux obviously way more animal friendly that the obvious, often catwalk alternative, but it’s actually better all round, and so on trend.
It did make an appearance last Autumn/Winter – so most fashion followers will probably have bits and bobs lying around – but this year fur is making an even bigger impact.
Not only are there are hundreds of faux fur coats (many vintage inspired) in all the high street stores at the moment, but boots, bags and accessories have also been lashed with the luxurious fabric.

I want a faux fur jacket! I can’t believe I don’t own one, though I am tempted to get like a plain black one or a leopard print one. However I don’t think I have the space in my wardrobe for another jacket/coat eek!

There’s an amazing fur bag in Aldo (I think Aldo anyway) which I’m lusting after! Other than that, I’m still regretting not purchasing that vintage faux fur coat from Brighton
