After weeks and weeks of pure entertainment, ITV’s talent show the X Factor finally came to a climactic close on Sunday.
The show, which brought us Ghamu-gate, Katy “Weasel” and the obviously not so innocent One Direction, has been a minefield of constant criticism and racy rumours since it started.
There have been constant rule breaks (naming no names Chezza), several rule changes (same again Mr Cowell) and the odd shock exit.
There has been one constant throughout the gruelling process, and that has been the glamorous girls and their wicked wardrobes. This year more than ever Dannii and Cheryl have pitted their best party frocks against each other every Saturday and Sunday night.

Oh I do love Chezza’s mullet dress!
It’s been a close one this year but Cheryl’s had some dodgy dress moments so I’m going to give this one to Dannii who’s always delivered in the fashion stakes. To be fair to Cheryl she did take more risks but it didn’t pay off all the time…

Yeah me too! Think that dress was one of Cheryl’s best. She did have some nice dresses, but I think she tries too hard… or her stylist does. Think she looked better last year to be honest.
I think Dannii looks a bit more effortless. Plus she hasn’t got Simon perving all over her! : )

Dannii all the way, she’s outdressed Cheryl on every week. And I agree, there is something very swoonsome about Matt, although I don’t fancy him anywhere near as much as Aiden Grimshaw…

I don’t follow the show but have enjoyed seeing the outfits you post here. I love what Cheryl and Danni wear, but have always wondered why they dress up QUITE so much… after all, they’re just judges on a show, they’re not going to a party or premiere, right? Am I the only one who thinks this way?
Sometimes I think Cheryl overdoes it completely.. but then it’s more than a singing competition. It’s a way of drumming up publicity for yourself (Dannii wore some dresses from her own collection).. so yes it’s a bit ott but that’s just how it is really.
Although they spend the entire time behind that desk so it is a bit like “what’s the point?!”
