Festival Fashion – Reading and Leeds

4 Sep

It felt like summer had only just begun, but can you believe that it’s already September? This year has absolutely flown by and all our fun, summer holiday plans are nearly over. Including festivals!

Following on from the sunny and celebrity stacked V Festival recently, we have since witnessed the musical wonder weekend that is Reading and Leeds. Ok, so it might have been rained, it might have been muddy and it probably smelt… a lot. But there were some great acts gracing the fields, including the Foo Fighters, Florence and the Machine and The Cure, to name just a few.

Despite all the elements, the celebs didn’t hold back on stage and even though some of the men may have stuck to their staplerock star  black tee and jeans (yes I mean you Mr Grohl) there were still some great outfits to ogle. Here’s just a few of the best and how you can get the festival look before it’s too late.

Florence rocks out at Reading in a sheer black dress

Get Flo’s look with this sheer maxi from American Apparel dress, £58

Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams got the crowd going with her mono trousers

Hayley’s actual jeans are from Tripp NYC, but you can get a similar pair for just £48 from Motel Rocks

Controversial singer Azealia Banks showed off some skin in a bralet and hot pants

Get Ms Banks’ look for less with these gorgeous River Island hight waisted shorts, £25

Katy B was on a mission in her casual shorts and tee combo

Katy’s very tee is by Club Love and can be yours for £25 from Asos

Or if you want to tap in to a more glamorous take on the tie dye look, get on to Boohoo.com for this £15 dress

So we may have seen the last of the festivals, and maybe the last of the sun (Boooo!), but there’s still plenty of things to look forward too, including lots more posts from us here at Wardrobe, so keep checking back!

Did you go to any festivals this year? What trends and styles are you looking forward to for Autumn?
